An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee CNC Operator to join our well established Team of Operators on a Full-Time, Permanent basis.

Job Overview:

This role is for a Trainee CNC Operator where you will be working on CNC Machines to manufacture precision engineered components from exotic materials.

You would carry out the following duties whilst in training and under supervision:

  • Operate computer numerically controlled CNC Machinery
  • Learn how to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Use a range of engineering and measuring equipment.
  • Be trained in CAD/CAM

Candidate Requirements:

To be considered for the position, you must have GCSE grades C and above in Maths & English and be:

  • Enthusiastic, with a good work ethic, willingness to learn and ability to work on your own initiative
  • Numerate and able to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, with a good standard of written and spoken English
  • Able to work well both as part of a team and as an individual.

Work Pattern:

  • 39 Hours per week
  • Monday - Thursday 07:30 – 16:00 and Friday 07:30 – 15:00.

This position is available with an immediate start for the successful candidate.

Salary is negotiable depending on any prior experience. Overtime is available as and when required
