The role
You'll be central to shaping creative concepts and turning them into compelling visual stories — blending art direction, UX/UI design, and cinematic storytelling to craft experiences that inspire and engage.
About the job
- Lead art direction for projects across immersive film, web (UX/UI), CGI, and animation, ensuring a cohesive and impactful visual language
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and Producers to translate ideas and narratives into compelling visual concepts
- Develop moodboards, styleframes, visual treatments, and previsualizations for pitches and live projects
- Design and iterate UX/UI experiences in Figma that feel intuitive, elegant, and aligned with each project's creative vision
- Write conceptual copy and presentation language to support pitches and visual deliverables
- Support video editing and rough cuts in Premiere Pro or After Effects to visualize ideas for client and internal review
- Work directly with clients to understand their brand, vision, and objectives, translating them into visual direction
- Participate in presentations, creative reviews, and feedback sessions throughout all production stages
- Communicate clear creative direction to internal teams, ensuring quality and consistency from concept to final delivery
- Identify and resolve creative or design gaps across film, animation, and digital formats
Who you are
- 4+ years' experience as an Art Director, Visual Designer, or similar within a creative studio, agency, or production environment
- Proven multidisciplinary background across film, animation, and UX/UI design
- Strong visual storytelling skills, with an ability to define and evolve visual languages across diverse media
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite — especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop — as well as Figma for UI/UX
- Comfortable crafting cinematic sequences, styleframes, and interactive visual concepts
- Sharp eye for detail, composition, typography, and motion
- Excellent communication and presentation skills — confident working with clients and internal teams
- Highly organised and adaptable, able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced creative environment
Nice to have:
- Experience with real-time engines (Unreal Engine)
- Interest in architecture, spatial design, or the built environment
- Familiarity with scriptwriting or narrative development
