We currently have opportunities for a full time (37.5 hours per week) & part time (22.5 hours per week) Support Worker to join our registered care home, Litslade Farm (in Newton Longville), where we support people with learning & physical disabilities.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping people live independently and with dignity. As part of the role, you will:
Assess needs and develop personalised support plans
Promote independence through life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting
Provide personal care with sensitivity and respect
Follow and contribute to risk assessments and management plans
Induct and assist in the mentoring of new staff
Support aspirations and help individuals achieve their goalsYou'll be part of a friendly, supportive team that values collaboration and compassion.
About you:
We are looking for someone with experience in the care or support sector, who brings a can-do attitude and a genuine desire to help others thrive.
You will also need to:
Communicate effectively and adapt to different needs and preferences
Be flexible and reliable, able to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays
Work well as part of a team and independently
Be committed to equality, diversity, and person-centred care
Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for workWe will support your development with a structured induction, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to gain an accredited vocational qualification.
Hightown Benefits:
Generous annual leave allowance of 33 days per year, including statutory bank holidays, rising to 35 days with service (Pro Rata)
£25,857 pa for a 37.5 hour a week contract or £13.26 per hour
