Job Role: Electrician Location: HMP Bullingdon OX25 Salary: £43,177.30 with an additional 5% basic salary in recognition of shift and weekend work, and an additional £3,000 per annum in allowances. Contract: Full Time - Perm (39hrs per week - shift work mon to sun)
We are seeking a dedicated Electrician to join our team at a HMP Bullingdon a category B male prison.

We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Electrician with any combination of:
- Two years' experience working in a role as an electrician
- Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems
- Good working knowledge of planned preventive maintenance operations
- Electrician qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
- 18th Edition
- Certificate in BS7671
- Good Health & Safety knowledge.
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.

Future Plans
GFSL has been notified by its shareholder (MOJ) that the provision of FM services will in future be delivered by the private sector. This means that following a successful procurement process, GFSL's services will complete transfer to a private sector provider/providers no sooner than August 2027.
