What we'll need you to bring- Required to undertake on the job training and induction (this will generally take 4-6 weeks, depending on hours/days worked), to achieve full competency across a range of duties.
- Working knowledge Health & Safety including participation in risk assessing individual tasks
- Undertake mandatory Health Care Support Workers (HCSW) Standards
- Undertake NHS Lanarkshire compulsory training
- Undertake and complete NHSS Portering Services Workbook.
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment
- Working knowledge of basic information technology

This role will be based in Portering within University Hospital Monklands
The working pattern for this role will consist of working any 4 days over 7 - Day/Back/Nightshift Patterns
