Job Description

The Job Mission:

This hybrid Senior Process Engineer role is based in Bristol, with three days in the office and two from home. You will support the design and integration of effluent treatment systems, acting as a technical coordinator across multiple engineering disciplines. You will guide system engineers, support design decision making and ensure consistent integration of process, mechanical, civil, electrical, I&C and safety inputs.

Responsibilities:

Defining and cascading process engineering priorities aligned with key project milestones

Providing process engineering guidance to system engineers and resolving multi discipline issues

Coordinating closely with layout, civil, nuclear safety, electrical, I&C and commissioning teams

Tracking technical progress and escalating blockers to project and Responsible Designer teams

Leading and supporting team participation in technical committees and coordination forums

Promoting process design stability and challenging modifications before change initiation

Ensuring consistent integration of process impacts and updating system configuration data

Qualifications

Skills Required:

Degree in Process or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent

Background in nuclear, heavy industrial process, water treatment, chemical or energy sectors

Strong capability in process engineering decision making and system coordination

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across UK and EU based teams

Confident working with remote and multi discipline engineering groups

Able to build constructive relationships across complex project structures
