Electro-Mechanical Technician

£31,775 starting salary (£16ph)
Location: Alton
Hours: 8am to 4pm Monday–Friday, 37,5 hours per week
Overtime: Daily at 1.5x basic rate
Duration: Permanent

Syntech Recruitment are excited to be supporting an aviation overhaul and repair business based in Alton, who are looking to expand their team with an Electro-Mechanical Technician.

What you'll be doing:

Reading schematic drawings and circuit diagrams to diagnose and repair faultsCarrying out soldering, testing and refurbishment of electronic and electro-mechanical assembliesUsing oscilloscopes, multimeters and other bench equipment to fault findCompleting work to CAA, EASA and FAA Part 145 standardsMaintaining accurate records using Microsoft Office and the MRP systemEnsuring all work cards and job packs are completed correctly

What we're looking for:

Strong ability to read schematic and engineering drawingsProven experience with soldering and electronics/electro-mechanical repairFault-finding experience using scopes, meters and standard workshop toolsTransferable repair background (aviation or industries such as white goods/electronics repair)Computer literate (Microsoft Office & MRP systems)
