Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. The Mechanic will play a crucial part in minimising downtime and ensuring safety standards are upheld across all operations

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose faults accurately using diagnostic tools and techniques
- Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical wiring
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts utilised
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent are preferred
- Valid UK driving licence is desirable for roles involving vehicle repairs or mobility around site
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an engaging opportunity for motivated individuals eager to apply their technical expertise within a supportive team environment

Pay: From £28,000.00 per year
