Role Description

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live safe, fulfilled and empowered lives. No two days are the same, and every shift makes a difference.

You will support people to:


• Build independence and communication


• Enjoy meaningful activities (arts, crafts, outdoor activities, sensory experiences)


• Engage in community life


• Maintain safety, wellbeing and emotional regulation


• Develop daily living skills


• Access Short Breaks or Respite tailored to their needs

You'll work as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team with full training, supervision and continuous development provided.

Key Responsibilities


• Provide high-quality, person-centred support


• Promote dignity, rights, safety and autonomy


• Support communication using individualised approaches


• Assist with daily tasks, routines and meaningful activities


• Complete clear, accurate records and reports


• Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and professionals


• Respond calmly and professionally during challenging situations


• Uphold safeguarding procedures and organisational policies


• Promote independence, inclusion and emotional wellbeing


• Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment
