Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our small & friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation of our 12 letting rooms. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in delivering high standards of hygiene and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitise rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas according to established standards.
  • Change bed linens, make beds, and organise furniture to ensure a neat appearance.
  • Perform specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing, window washing, or deep cleaning when required.
  • Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials.
  • Handle laundry duties including deliveries & storage
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure all tools are stored safely after use.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or client requests courteously and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills & a good eye for detail a must
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is desirable.
