The V&V Principal Engineer will support the planning, execution, and reporting of Verification and Validation activities to ensure hardware and software systems meet all specified requirements. This role is central to assuring the performance, safety, and reliability of complex systems within a naval defence environment, contributing directly to mission readiness and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct V&V activities in compliance with approved management plans, using approved methods, competent personnel, effective delivery systems and processes
  • Lead/Supervise V&V engineers output as required for scoped work package delivery
  • Apply IVVTQA principles and best practice across the SE lifecycle, from requirements, design, integration and the V&V stages, supporting the acceptance process.

We are looking for:

  • Supervision, coaching and guidance of junior engineers.
  • Competent in the use of DOORS or similar requirements management and test tools.
  • Significant experience of planning and conduct of IVVTQA activities within a Systems Engineering lifecycle.
