If you enjoy being the person who actually makes sure things work the way they should, this is a great chance to step into a role with real influence. You'll join a friendly, motivated engineering team that works closely with design, manufacturing and production support, all pulling in the same direction to build test strategies that actually make a difference. There's proper flexibility, a supportive culture, and lots of room to grow your career.
Benefits:
- Company bonus up to £2,500
- Pension with total contributions up to 14 percent
- Overtime available if you want it
- Flexi leave up to 15 additional days
- Hybrid working where workload allows
- Excellent on-site facilities including subsidised meals and free parking
- Real long-term development and progression opportunities
About the Role
You'll take a lead role in shaping the Production Test Philosophy for current and future products across complex engineering programmes. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys seeing the bigger picture and working across design, development and manufacturing teams.
You'll be defining test equipment requirements, developing diagnostic strategies, reviewing and improving test coverage, and making sure the production test approach is consistent, robust and aligned across the programme. It's a role with lots of collaboration, visibility and technical influence.
What You'll Need
- Degree or equivalent experience in engineering, physics, maths or similar
- Experience or awareness of development and production test techniques
- Comfortable implementing test approaches in real-world engineering environments
- Strong communication skills and good use of Microsoft Office tools
- Bonus if you have exposure to MBSE, automated test equipment, or experience working with manufacturing and design teams
What You'll Get
A genuinely varied role with big-picture visibility, the chance to shape how test is done across a full programme, and a team that values learning, sharing knowledge and developing people. There's clear growth potential too, including progression into team leadership if that's something you'd enjoy.
Security clearance requirements apply.
