Overview:

Taylor's Service Centres consists of four highly equiped individual workshops in one location (totallying 50 bays) and includes a brand new, recently opened dedicated Renault / Dacia Regional Excellence Hub, a dedicated JLR EV Battery Centre, a dedicated JLR Regional Rapid Recovery and Repair Center plus a number of workshop bays available for the service / repair of other premium car brand vehicles.

Due to our continued recent expansion program, Taylor's now have an opportunity for three additional Vehicle Technicians to join our team. (1 x Renault, 1 x JLR, 1 x General workshop).

Whether you are an Autocare/Service Technician looking for your next opportunity, a qualified Vehicle Technician currently working for a different marque or an experienced or qualified JLR or Renault Technician, then we have feel we have an opportunity for you.

Skills & Experience:

  • Ideally, applicants will either be a qualified Auto Technician (C&G/IMI Level 2), or a Vehicle Technician within a franchise dealer. (We are able to provide dedicated 'conversion' courses for Vehicle Technicians moving to us from another brand / manufacturer) or have experience of working on JLR / Renault vehicles.
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Possess a full UK driving license.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out service, (possibly diagnosis) and repair of vehicles to the highest standards.
  • Communicating with the Service Advisors and Workshop Control
  • Maintain a thorough and up-to-date technical knowledge of product portfolio.
  • Maintain the highest levels of customer service to encourage customer loyalty and referrals.
  • Use of the in-house company computer system to accurately record all activity.
  • A willingness to attend any internal / external company training courses aimed at enhancing your skills and keeping up to date with industry changes / standards.
  • To help create and maintain a positive and friendly working environment.
