About the Role

We need an expert tutor to support a SEMH student to achieve Functional skills certification English and Maths, this will be in-person tuition support and immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan & Deliver Sessions: Lead engaging lessons tailored to each student's needs (mostly in-person).
• Tailor Lesson Plans: Use pre-prepared lessons to personalise for each student.
• Supportive Learning Environment: Foster academic and social-emotional growth.
• Progress Feedback: Complete reports and provide feedback.
• Safeguarding: Follow all safeguarding procedures—safeguarding is everyone's responsibility.

Requirements

Must:

• Flexible to travel to Wombourne.
• Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service
• Professional teaching qualifications
• Experience with the British National Curriculum
• Right to work in the UK
• Two professional references

Desirable:

• Minimum 1 years teaching experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, or SLD students
• (QTS/QTLS) (desirable)
