Receptionist (Voluntary)

We're looking for a warm and enthusiastic Volunteer Receptionist to join our welcoming team at our local opticians.

What you'll be doing:

• Greeting patients and visitors with a smile and making them feel comfortable
• Answering phone calls and helping to book or rearrange appointments
• Supporting staff with simple admin and front-desk tasks
• Helping to keep the reception area tidy and organised
• Learning how an optician's practice runs day to day

What we're looking for:

• Friendly and approachable personality
• Good communication and people skills
• Basic computer confidence (training given)
• Reliable and keen to learn
• No previous experience needed — just a positive attitude
