Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated 
Senior Java Developer
 with strong expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, and NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred). This role requires a hands-on engineering mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the right attitude to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based applications.
  • Build and deploy microservices using 
    Kubernetes
     and containerised architectures.
  • Develop cloud-native solutions leveraging 
    AWS services
    .
  • Work with 
    MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
     for scalable data solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and product owners.
  • Ensure code quality, security, and performance standards are met for banking-grade applications.
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and support critical banking systems when required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8–15 years of professional experience as a Java Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in 
    Core Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and Microservices
     architecture.
  • Proven experience with 
    Kubernetes
    , Docker, and container orchestration.
  • Hands-on experience working with 
    AWS Cloud
     (Lambda, S3, EC2, ECS/EKS, IAM etc.).
  • Experience with 
    MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases
    .
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD, version control, and modern development practices.
  • Experience working in 
    Banking or Financial Services
     is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder interaction, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must demonstrate the 
    right attitude
    , proactiveness, and accountability—highly valued by the client.
