Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Harlow Council to recruit a Housing Assistant on a full-time, temporary basis.

Please note that this post requires the successful individual to be based on site 5 days per week,

Harlow is a district of contrasts and an ideal location to both live and work. The town itself is thriving, with excellent shopping and leisure facilities for all ages. We have good road links to the M11 and M25 and excellent rail connections to London and Stansted Airport, just 35 minutes and 20 minutes away from Harlow respectively.

Job Purpose:
The Council is committed to the highest level of customer care and service delivery the post holder will work as part of the Area Housing Team and will assist the team with its delivery of the service in all aspects of housing management. Working in accordance with the Council's agreed policies and working practices, delivering a first class service that is value for money and customer focused.

The Role:
To support the work of the team as required by dealing with all aspects of housing management as required. The post holder will assist the area housing teams to deliver a first class housing service

Duties Include but Not Limited to –
To provide administrative support for the Open Parking Programme.

To Ensure that comprehensive notes and documentation are electronically saved, updated and maintained.

To provide data entry relevant to the programme.

To coordinate outlook diary appointments.

To assist in the delivery of correspondence, printing .

To be completely flexible to assist the delivery of the programme.

The experience you will bring:
Requires someone confident in undertaking all aspects of administrative work to ensure a successful delivery of the programme
