Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in project management software and civil engineering tools. The ideal applicant will have a solid background in construction management, with expertise in Primavera P6 and Civil 3D, alongside exceptional time management abilities.
Duties
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation using Primavera P6.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor progress regularly to ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets; adjust plans as necessary.
- Oversee procurement processes and manage subcontractor relationships to guarantee quality standards are met.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and issues for stakeholders.
- Utilise Civil 3D for design review and site layout planning to facilitate accurate project execution.
- Manage project documentation meticulously to ensure all records are up-to-date and accessible.
- Lead project meetings, ensuring clear communication among all team members and stakeholders.
- Enforce health and safety protocols on-site to maintain a secure working environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 for project scheduling and resource management is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Civil 3D for civil engineering design and site planning is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability in time management to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
