We are wishing to hire an Electrical/Avionics, Mechanical, or Structural engineer with a passion to support our airline customers, in the role of an
Entry level Support Engineering Data Specialist
. The role will be based out of our Welwyn Garden City site.
Our engineers research and integrate engineering inputs to create airplane maintenance, modification and repair information using a variety of automated research tools and authoring systems. Training and mentoring will be provided as part of our culture of continuous professional development.
Hiring details:
- This requisition is for a locally hired position in Welwyn Garden City. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
- This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist in analyzing technical requirements to determine project scope and deliverables
- Assist with the collection, research and analysis of source data
- Research and evaluate engineering source data and specifications
- Develop or maintain technical publication elements for all levels of maintenance, retrofit and repair
- Coordinate the preparation of illustrative materials
- Coordinate engineering requirements, schedule and status with all stakeholders
- Conduct quality and in-process reviews including the validation of technical publications
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering
- Ability to work on multiple projects with varying level of requirements efficiently and effectively
- Solid IT and communications skills
- Knowledge and experience of aircraft maintenance and repair
