Formulation, Production and Warehouse Coordinator – Lancashire – Temp to Perm

About the Company:

We are looking for an experienced Laboratory Technician/ Inks Formulator who has also worked in a warehouse environment to do a dual function role at a contract research company in Lancashire. It is initially a contract but with the potential to be made permanent.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, pack, and ship products safely, accurately, and on time.
• Order raw materials and liaise with suppliers to ensure cost-effective, reliable delivery.
• Coordinate and schedule production to meet customer demand and delivery targets.
• Produce/ formulate and dispatch orders in line with SOPs and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, stock control, and carry out regular stock audits.
• Complete production documentation, quality checks, traceability records, and labelling.
• Work closely with Sales and Accounts to align production, dispatch, and invoicing priorities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse and production environment.
• Identify and drive continuous improvements in production, quality, and workflows.
• Provide general operational support as required.

Requirements:

• Inks formulation or mixing experience.
• Warehousing experience – picking, packing, shipping, etc.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Self-motivated.
