We're looking for a motivated Field Service Engineer to carry out in-home repairs, installations and servicing of gym equipment around the Northern border of the country. You'll play a vital part in keeping customers' treadmills, cross trainers, rowers and exercise bikes in top condition, helping them stay active and healthy.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on technical experience who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and delivering excellent customer service.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Travelling across the North of the country and into Scotland to visit customers' homes and workplaces, carrying out repairs, services and installations of gym equipment.
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Completing safety checks to ensure all work meets company and industry standards.
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with customers, always maintaining a helpful, solutions-focused attitude.
  • Providing friendly advice on safe use and maintenance of gym machines.
  • Keeping accurate records of all visits, parts used and feedback.
  • Managing van stock and coordinating with warehouse and parts teams as needed.
  • Reporting any recurring product or safety issues to the technical team.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in field servicing, repair or maintenance – ideally with mechanical or electrical equipment.
  • A practical mindset with excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to manage your own workload and plan routes efficiently.
  • Comfortable using digital tools for job tracking and reporting.
  • Full UK driving licence and a clean, professional approach to work.

Experience with gym or fitness equipment would be a great advantage, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
