Job Overview

We're looking for a skilled labourer, ideally with some experience installing internal wall insulation. Immediate start on a job in a dwelling in Liverpool.

We install the full range of energy efficiency measure sin dwelling and are a small but growing team. There's a strong pipeline of work should the right candidate wish to stay in the team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, practical skills, and the ability to perform a variety of manual tasks across different projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive environment, contributing to the successful completion of diverse construction and maintenance projects. Candidates should be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new techniques.

Duties

  • Assisting with the preparation and organisation of work sites, including loading and unloading materials.
  • Carrying out general manual labour such as digging, lifting, and moving materials as required.
  • Supporting tradespeople with insulation installation works, stripping plaster, cutting timber etc.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Operating basic machinery and tools under supervision.
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of quality.

Skills

  • Proven experience in manual labour roles or construction-related activities is desirable.
  • Good physical fitness with the ability to perform strenuous tasks over extended periods.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to construction sites.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different tasks and working environments.
  • Valid driving licence is advantageous but not essential. This position provides an excellent platform for those seeking practical experience in the construction or maintenance industries, with opportunities for skill development and career progression within a professional setting.

Pay: £12.83-£16.81 per hour
