Kickstart your finance career as a Credit Controller Apprentice within CSG Professional Services, where you'll play a key role in keeping our cash flow healthy while learning from an experienced team in a dynamic, supportive environment. As a Credit Controller Apprentice, you'll help drive improvements in cash collection by building strong relationships with internal teams and customers. Your work will directly contribute to the financial stability and growth of the business, while gaining valuable hands-on experience in credit control and finance operations.

• Chase outstanding debts via phone and email in line with company policy.
• Achieve monthly cash collection targets and minimise bad debt risk.
• Hold regular meetings with CRM teams to review key accounts.
• Manage and resolve customer queries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate audit trails and ensure compliance with credit control policies.
• Identify and escalate accounts in financial difficulty where needed.
• Assist with reporting to credit insurers and managing customer credit limits.
• Contribute to system testing and process improvements in Accounts Receivable.

• Strong communication skills with a confident phone manner.
• Passes in Maths and English GCSE.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a drive to achieve results.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other finance systems.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a finance or credit control career.
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
