Overview
We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong woodworking knowledge and experience in assembly processes. This role involves working with both hand and power tools to assemble components efficiently and accurately within a factory environment. If you are detail-oriented and enjoy working with your hands, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Assemble chair frames and tables from components according to specifications.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete assembly tasks.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Report any issues or discrepancies in the assembly process to the supervisor promptly.
Experience
- Proven knowledge of assembling wood components utilising dowels, glue and staples, utilising clamps to ensure tight joints is essential for understanding assembly processes.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools is required for effective assembly work.
- Previous factory experience is advantageous, providing familiarity with the environment and processes.
- A strong attention to detail is necessary to ensure high-quality output.
