Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a dynamic accountancy firm seeking a strategically minded Audit Partner to join their new audit team based in the West Midlands. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in leading service delivery to clients across a range of sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing firm with ambitious plans to significantly increase its audit fee revenue over the next five years and this role will be key to delivering those plans. The business has already seen its audit fees grow organically by over 20% in the last 4 years.

You will take on a portfolio of clients in the Midlands with capacity retained for you to further develop and grow your client base.

Your responsibilities as Audit Partner will include:

  • Collaborating with an experienced audit team to deliver a diverse portfolio of audit engagements across various industries.
  • Contributing to the development and execution of the firm's broader audit strategy in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Supporting the growth and development of the local audit team, including recruitment, and mentoring team members to help them achieve their professional goals.
  • Leading business development initiatives, including managing and contributing to tender opportunities within the region.

To be considered for the role of Audit Partner, you will be:

  • A qualified audit professional with experience managing a portfolio of audit clients and a willingness to expand expertise into new sectors.
  • An initiative-taking business developer with a strong interest in building relationships and expanding their professional network.
  • An effective team manager who is enthusiastic about leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
  • An excellent communicator with strong people skills and the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of an organisation.
