TeamBA is a dynamic and creative agency working across events, design, and film. We specialise in bringing ideas to life through engaging events, impactful media projects, and innovative design. We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Event Manager to join our growing team.

As an Event Manager, you'll be responsible for the planning and delivery of events and activations from start to finish. You'll work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure every project runs smoothly and meets our high standards.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives on variety, takes ownership of their work, and can think creatively about how to deliver exceptional experiences. Projects range from conferences and award ceremonies to hybrid events, webinars, and more.

The Role

  • Manage all aspects of event planning and delivery, including venues, suppliers, logistics, and schedules.
  • Liaise directly with clients to understand requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Produce detailed event plans, schedules, and briefing documents.
  • Manage budgets, track expenses, and maintain invoice trackers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (design, film, marketing) to create engaging event materials and campaigns.
  • Contribute ideas for new event formats, activations, and process improvements.
  • Attend events and ensure seamless on-site delivery.
  • In quiet periods, working proactively to build client relationships and secure new business.

About You

  • Proven employed experience in event coordination or management (agency or corporate).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident liaising with clients and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently as part of a small, collaborative team.
  • Based in Birmingham / West Midlands with a valid UK driving licence.

As part of a small, flexible SME, you'll support a variety of tasks beyond your core role, which may include filming, admin, or business development. This hands-on approach offers the opportunity to broaden your skills, gain exposure to all areas of the company, and develop professionally. Flexibility and a proactive mindset will be key to your success.
