Who We Are
Addepar is a global technology and data company that helps investment professionals provide the most informed, precise guidance for their clients. Hundreds of thousands of users have entrusted Addepar to empower smarter investment decisions and better advice over the last decade. With client presence in more than 50 countries, Addepar's platform aggregates portfolio, market and client data for over $8 trillion in assets. Addepar's open platform integrates with more than 100 software, data and services partners to deliver a complete solution for a wide range of firms and use cases. Addepar embraces a global flexible workforce model with offices in New York City, Salt Lake City, London, Edinburgh, Pune, Dubai, Geneva, and São Paulo.
The RoleWe are currently seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Data Enablement organisation, specifically as the lead product contributor for our Portfolio Services mandate.
Portfolio Services is the "last link in the chain" for Addepar's massive data engine. This team is responsible for the validation, transformation, and import of custody feed pipelines into the core Addepar application and database. As the Product Manager for this critical infrastructure, you will ensure that the data powering $8 trillion in assets is delivered timely, accurately, and reliably.
You will partner deeply with Engineering to modernize our ingestion architecture (shifting logic to Databricks), streamline how we map custodial data to financial models, and build the tools that allow our Data Operations teams to scale. You will be the bridge between complex backend engineering and the operational needs of the business, prioritizing stability and scalability while enabling new data capabilities.
Applicants must have, and maintain, the right to work in the United Kingdom from the first day of employment. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
What You'll Do- Own the "Last Mile" of Data: Manage the product roadmap for the services responsible for importing, validating, and persisting custodial data into the Addepar platform
- Modernize Infrastructure: Partner with engineering to evolve our architecture and legacy import tools into a modern, Databricks-native ecosystem, reducing manual maintenance and improving reliability
- Streamline Operations: Work closely with internal stakeholders (Data Operations and Feed Analysts) to identify pain points in the data onboarding process. You will translate these needs into tools that automate issue triage, data reconciliation, and feed cutovers
- Enhance Data Modeling: Drive the intake and prioritization of data modeling enhancements, enabling the platform to support complex asset classes and sophisticated transaction types
- Prioritize Ruthlessly: Balance immediate "keep the lights on" stability improvements with long-term strategic architectural changes. You will need to effectively set expectations with stakeholders and keep the team focused on core commitments
- Drive Observability: Champion the build-out of better telemetry and event logging, moving the team from reactive debugging to proactive system monitoring
Example Projects
- Operational Observability & Proactive Alerting: Transform raw technical logs into intuitive, user-friendly dashboards that empower non-technical teams (Data Operations, Client Services) to monitor pipeline health in real-time. You will define the logic for proactive alerts that surface account-level data issues to operators before they impact clients, allowing for self-service resolution without engineering intervention
- Revamping Test Environments & Data Egress: Lead the strategy for how internal teams simulate and verify data imports. You will drive the development of tools that manage the egress of data into safe testing environments (sandboxes), enabling analysts to validate feed builds and migrations with higher confidence and speed
- Extensive product management experience, preferably in data infrastructure, backend platforms, or fintech
- Technical Fluency: You are comfortable discussing API integrations, ETL/ELT pipelines, SQL, and data warehousing concepts (experience with Databricks or similar platforms is a plus). You can read and review technical requirements with engineering leads
- Internal Customer Mindset: You view internal teams (Engineers, Data Ops, Analysts) not just as colleagues, but as your primary customers. You bring a service-oriented approach to product management, prioritizing responsiveness and empathy. You understand that "internal tools" are products too, and you are passionate about delivering a seamless experience that empowers your stakeholders to do their best work
- Structured Thinker: You can take a complex web of stakeholder requests (from Data Ops, Solutions, and Engineering) and synthesize them into a clear, prioritized quarterly roadmap
- Domain Knowledge: Experience working with financial data (custodians, transactions, positions, security masters) or data reconciliation processes is highly valued
- Clear Communicator: You can effectively communicate the status of complex technical migrations to non-technical stakeholders and leadership
Our Values
- Act Like an Owner - Think and operate with intention, purpose and care. Own outcomes.
- Build Together - Collaborate to unlock the best solutions. Deliver lasting value.
- Champion Our Clients - Exceed client expectations. Our clients' success is our success.
- Drive Innovation - Be bold and unconstrained in problem solving. Transform the industry.
- Embrace Learning - Engage our community to broaden our perspective. Bring a growth mindset.
In addition to our core values, Addepar is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We seek to bring together diverse ideas, experiences, skill sets, perspectives, backgrounds and identities to drive innovative solutions. We commit to promoting a welcoming environment where inclusion and belonging are held as a shared responsibility.
We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.
PHISHING SCAM WARNING: Addepar is among several companies recently made aware of a phishing scam involving con artists posing as hiring managers recruiting via email, text and social media. The imposters are creating misleading email accounts, conducting remote "interviews," and making fake job offers in order to collect personal and financial information from unsuspecting individuals. Please be aware that no job offers will be made from Addepar without a formal interview process. Additionally, Addepar will not ask you to purchase equipment or supplies as part of your onboarding process. If you have any questions, please reach out to
