An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Planning professional to join a leading regional financial planning practice as Regional Manager, to be based in the South of England.
This well-established practice are affiliated with several professional services companies across the South and South West providing high-quality advice to HNW clients. A steady flow of inbound leads are available to utilise and grow. The Role -
As Regional Manager, you will report to the Head of Financial Planning and lead Financial Planners across a number of regional offices. This is a dual-focused role combining management and leadership responsibilities with client-facing financial planning.
Management & Leadership:
- Manage a team of experienced Financial Planners whilst overseeing a team of Client Administrators and Paraplanners (who directly report to their respective heads) ensuring high-quality client service and delivery
- Drive regional performance and strategy aligned with the overall business plan
- Manage regional financial performance including fee income, budgeting and net asset growth
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Provide leadership, mentoring and development to the regional team
Client Facing & Business Development:
- Manage and build a portfolio of existing HNW clients
- Work closely with the professional services businesses to generate referrals and maximise internal opportunities
- Drive new business from external sources including professional introducers and networking events
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional connections – both internally and externally
What's Required -
Essential:
- Level 4 qualified, and ideally Chartered (level 6 qualified)
- Experience in a leadership or management role within a Financial Planning company
- Proven track record in managing and building a portfolio of HNW clients
- Strong business development skills with experience driving new business
- Thorough knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Desirable:
- Experience working with professional services company or a company with multiple disciplines/offerings including a wealth management company
- Strong networking capabilities within professional services
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams
