Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Production Operator to join our production line team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, semi-automated plastic production environment.

Full training is provided however previous experience in production/manufacturing environment would be advantageous. The company can provide genuine advancement opportunities for those who show potential. The position is for day or night shift 7 to 7, Monday to Thursday.

Duties

- Operate and monitor machinery, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.

- Forklift operation.

- Employ hand tools for assembly and maintenance tasks as required.

- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and movement within the warehouse.

- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic repairs.

- Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow and meet production targets.

- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.

- Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring tools and materials are stored correctly.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.

- Ability to operate forklift and various machinery and tools.

- Experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting is desirable.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

- Keen eye for detail.

- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
