Venom Contractors – Construction Labour Specialist

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + Up to 30% Commission on Billings

Venom Contractors is not a traditional recruitment agency — we are a sub-contractor supplying skilled labour directly to leading UK housebuilders and construction companies.

This role combines recruitment, labour resourcing, client management, and commercial growth into one high-impact position. We are expanding fast and looking for a Senior/Managing Recruitment Consultant who can take ownership, drive performance, and help scale the business.

What You'll Be Doing

A hybrid role covering recruitment delivery, labour management, and sales:

  • Sourcing and supplying construction labour (groundworkers, finishers, trades, labourers, machine ops, etc.)
  • Managing operatives: availability, compliance, communication, site planning
  • Winning and developing client accounts via outbound calling, site visits, and networking
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and operatives
  • Growing and managing your own desk with full autonomy
  • Supporting Venom's wider operational and commercial goals

This is not a desk-only job — it's hands-on and directly tied to live construction site operations.

  • Experience in construction recruitment, labour supply, or subcontracting
  • Strong track record in sales, billings, and client management
  • Ability to manage multiple operatives and multiple sites simultaneously
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Ambitious, self-driven, and comfortable operating with autonomy
  • Desire to grow into a leadership/management role as Venom expands

Salary, Commission & Benefits

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 basic (DOE)

Commission: Up to 30% on personal billings
