Lascar is a market-leading UK electronics company based in Whiteparish, near Salisbury. We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, self-motivated Administrator to join our busy and expanding Customer Support team; a key area of our business. You will play a critical role in processing sales orders and being a helpful and friendly first point of contact for all customers. This is a busy and varied role requiring an excellent telephone manner and high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative duties such as processing sales orders, raising new quotations, issuing credit notes etc;
  • Communicating with customers via phone and email to process orders and respond to sales enquiries;
  • Collaborating with other internal teams (such as purchasing and despatch) to ensure smooth operations and first class customer support;
  • Processing web orders and payments;
  • Running daily sales reports as required;
  • Maintaining the sales database with customer details and amending where necessary.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer support/sales admin role;
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • A proactive, "can-do" attitude;
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work efficiently as a team;
  • Excellent IT skills with experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook;
  • Willingness to learn and develop (full training is provided);
  • Knowledge of a CRM system would be advantageous but not essential;
  • A driving licence and reliable transport (public transport is not readily available to our office).

Benefits:

  • Salary: up to £30,000 depending on skills and experience.
  • Working Hours: full-time hours are 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4pm on a Friday.
  • Holiday: Starting entitlement is 22 days plus Bank Holidays – this increases each year to a maximum of 28 days plus Bank Holidays.
  • Sabbatical: One month paid sabbatical after 6 years of work.

Lascar is a non-smoking/non-vaping company.
