The Role:

The Network Aruba Wireless Administrator is responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining Aruba wireless network solutions to ensure seamless connectivity, security, and performance across the enterprise. This role involves troubleshooting wireless issues, optimizing network performance, and implementing best practices for secure wireless access.

Key responsibilities:

Wireless Network Administration:

• Configure, monitor, and maintain Aruba wireless controllers, access points, and related infrastructure.
• Manage Aruba Central or AirWave for centralized monitoring and reporting.

Performance & Optimization:

• Conduct regular health checks and performance tuning of wireless networks.
• Implement RF optimization strategies to ensure coverage and minimize interference.

Security & Compliance:

• Apply Aruba ClearPass policies for secure authentication and access control.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.

Troubleshooting & Support:

• Diagnose and resolve wireless connectivity issues for end-users and devices.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for wireless-related incidents and escalations.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, policies, and network diagrams.
• Generate performance and capacity reports for management review.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience

• Technical Accreditations advantageous

Key Skills & Knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience in wireless network administration, preferably with Aruba solutions.
• Hands-on experience with
  Aruba Mobility Controllers, Access Points, ClearPass, AirWave, and Aruba Central
  .
• Strong understanding of wireless protocols standards), RF principles, and network security.
• Certifications such as
  Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA), Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP)
  are highly desirable.
