About The Role
Hostaway is a customer centric company with our clients at the heart of everything we do. Going into 2026 we are going to become design driven and supercharge our design thinking processes.
As a senior product designer, you lead projects from discovery through to delivery including data tracking and analysis after any feature or project goes live. You will be a champion of design thinking and design thinking principles and processes. You will collaborate closely with product management, designers, engineers, customer success, sales, marketing and stakeholders, while always representing the end user to deliver delightful and desirable impact driven solutions.
You will play a key role in shaping what the team delivers and how we deliver it while ensuring quality and consistency across all device types and screen sizes. You will build empathy with our users, understand their ways of working and what drives them. You will gather insights from many different areas and be able to create compelling stories clearly identifying user needs and product gaps.
Success in this role requires a deep level of empathy through user research to identify user needs, being able to practically solve design challenges while crafting visually beautiful interfaces that users will love.
What You'll Do
- Lead the entire design process: From research and discovery through ideation, prototyping, testing, and delivery.
- Uncover user needs: Use both qualitative and quantitative research to inform and guide your design choices.
- Facilitate team alignment: Organize workshops to generate ideas, focus the team, and drive decision-making.
- Create impactful, user-centered designs: Develop solutions that balance business, user, and technical needs.
- Deliver polished outputs: Produce interactive mockups and prototypes, refining through user testing and feedback.
- Think system-wide: Collaborate cross-functionally, maintain the design system, and consider the broader product ecosystem.
Job requirements
- 5+ years working in a product design role, ideally in a B2B/B2B SaaS environment
- Demonstrable experience designing for multiple devices and screen sizes, ensuring a seamless experience across platforms
- Highly proficient in all areas of the design thinking process
- Strong research, story telling, mapping and blueprinting skills
- Strong visual and interface skills
Highly proficient in figma and it's functionalities (especially autolayout)
Vibecoding experience is a plus
Building deep empathy with our clients - you know what drives them, what they expect and how to create designs that will delight them and improve their workflows and efficiency
- Can handle more than one project at a time but knows how to self orientate and prioritise
- Experience working in agile environments
