Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee operations in our establishment at The Pig & Pickle . The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food safety and production. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our kitchen ,and service areas operate smoothly, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Duties

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
  • Manage food production processes, including preparation and cooking, to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
  • Implement training programmes for staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
  • Collaborate with bartenders to ensure a well-managed beverage service that complements the dining experience.
  • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and professional growth.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Experience in food production and preparation techniques.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with kitchen operations in a hotel or similar environment is advantageous.
