Role: Primary School Teacher
Location: Sleaford, Lincolnshire
Contract: Flexible temporary roles (day-to-day, short-term and long-term)
Start date: January 2026/April 2026
Salary: £32,916-£45,351 per annum (depending on experience and/or qualifications)
About the role
Heart of Supply is currently seeking Primary School Teachers to support our partner schools in Sleaford and the surrounding areas. These flexible opportunities include day-to-day supply, short-term placements, and longer-term cover across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. You'll work across a variety of school settings, delivering engaging lessons, following prepared plans, and helping to ensure continuity and a positive learning environment when the class teacher is absent.
We're looking for versatile and confident teachers who can quickly establish positive relationships with pupils and staff, manage behaviour effectively, and bring both enthusiasm and reassurance into the classroom. Successful candidates will be reliable, proactive, and adaptable, able to step seamlessly into new environments, whether that's supporting early phonics in Reception or leading revision sessions with a Year 6 class.
About us / the schools
At Heart of Supply, we work closely with a diverse range of local schools across Sleaford and the surrounding areas, including welcoming primary schools, busy secondary settings, and specialist SEND provisions within inclusive academy trusts. Our partner schools are supportive, well-equipped, and dedicated to fostering positive experiences for both pupils and staff. Whether you're keen to expand your experience or searching for a setting that truly suits you, we'll support you in finding opportunities that align with your skills and goals.
What you will need:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent experience in a UK primary setting
- A nurturing, flexible teaching approach with the ability to connect quickly with pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management rooted in positive reinforcement
- The ability to follow pre-set work while bringing your own creativity and energy to the classroom
- Clear communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to build rapport with pupils and staff alike
- A minimum of 6 weeks' teaching experience in the UK
What we offer you:
- Competitive weekly PAYE pay
- Roles tailored to your lifestyle, day-to-day or longer term
- Access to exclusive opportunities in great local schools
- A friendly, experienced consultant who listens
- Free CPD and ongoing professional development
- A simple 'Refer a Friend' scheme
- A warm, supportive agency that genuinely cares about you and your journey
We're fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All applicants will undergo thorough vetting, including enhanced DBS (with children's barred list check and Update Service registration), references, and online checks as part of our compliance process.
About us:
Heart of Supply is built on over 15 years of experience in education recruitment. We understand that behind every placement is a person with their own goals, values, and ambitions. Our mission is simple: put people first, always.
