Job Title: Water Hygiene Technician / Plumber (NVQ Level 2 or 3 Essential)

Location: Biggleswade
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 DOE + Overtime
Permanent | Full-Time

Our client is a long-established, family-run water treatment and water hygiene specialist with over 40 years' industry experience. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a qualified Plumber / Water Hygiene Technician to join their dedicated team based from Biggleswade, delivering high-quality plumbing and water hygiene services across commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing works and installations to a high professional standard
• Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of commercial water systems
• Support delivery of water hygiene and compliance services
• Work closely with colleagues and clients to ensure smooth service delivery
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company and industry standards
• Travel to client sites as required, with occasional staying away (2–3 nights per month)

The Ideal Candidate

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing – essential
• Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)
• Based within Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire or Hertfordshire, with regular travel to the Biggleswade depot
• Strong team player with good communication skills
• Flexible to work overtime (typically 10–12 hours per week)
• Willing to stay away from home occasionally
