About the Role
As a Computer Science Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
• Teaching Computer Science across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners.
• Assessing student progress, setting targets, and providing constructive feedback.
• Contributing to the department's curriculum development and resource creation.
• Promoting digital safety and innovative use of technology in education.
• Creating and maintaining a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school.
• Participating in relevant professional development opportunities.
Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in Computer Science or a related subject
• QTS or PGCE
• Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5
Salary
The salary for this Computer Science Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
