Pay Rate : 12.21 Pounds/hr

Timings : Morning Shift :00) , Night (19:00-07:00)

Job Description :

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Fire Marshal to join our team, responsible for ensuring fire safety and risk management across our workplace. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 Certificate in Fire Marshall (issued by a recognised awarding body), and will actively promote best practice in fire prevention, preparation, and emergency response.

Key Responsibilities :

• Carry out scheduled fire safety checks, inspections, and audits of all workplace areas.
• Lead and coordinate routine fire drills, ensuring all staff are aware of evacuation procedures.
• Act as primary point of contact during fire alarms, evacuations, and emergency incidents.
• Support induction and regular training for colleagues on fire safety regulations and procedures.
• Log all fire alarm activations, incidents, and risk assessments in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Maintain and inspect fire fighting equipment and ensure signage is clearly visible at all times.
• Work closely with management to ensure compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and all relevant workplace legislation.

Essential Requirements :

• Level 2 Certificate in Fire Marshall (must be accredited by a certified awarding body; online awareness courses are not sufficient).
• Strong understanding of workplace fire safety regulations, hazards, and risk controls.
• Able to lead others confidently during training and emergency situations.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Reliable, calm under pressure, and committed to high standards of safety.

Desirable :

• Prior experience in a fire safety, facilities, or health & safety role.
• Additional health & safety certificates (e.g. First Aid).
