Middlesex in the Community: MCC Hub Lead Coach

Middlesex in the Community are the charitable arm of Middlesex Cricket. We promote and deliver cricket across the 17 London boroughs that form the cricket County of Middlesex.
We are looking for an MCC Hub Lead Coach to join our Community Coach team*. You will be part of the Middlesex in the Community team who work in one of the most vibrant cities in the world, London We are a charity that embraces difference, pushes the boundaries on what can be achieved and wants to lead on the world stage. *Please note that these roles are to work as self-employed contractors, employment contracts are not available.
Principal responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to deliver high-quality, cricket sessions at Middlesex's new MCC Hub, delivered at St Aloysius College. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Planning & Delivering weekly sessions with the MCC Hub Coaching team
- Ensuring all sessions are safe, inclusive, and delivered in line with ECB guidelines and Middlesex Cricket safeguarding standards.
- Recording accurate data required for reporting.
- Providing weekly updates to Partnership Manager (Chance to Shine) on progression of the Hub.
- Acting as a positive ambassador for Middlesex in the Community.
- Attending training, CPD, and team meetings as required to support programme development.
- Level 2 ECB Coaching Qualification or equivalent qualification
- Disclosure and Barring System Check (assistance available)
- First Aid Certificate (assistance available)
- Safeguarding Level 2 Qualification (assistance available)
- Experience coaching young people
- Ability to travel by St Aloysius College.
- Ability to work to individual and team targets.
- Adopt a positive Customer Service approach
- Ability to communicate with key stake holders and customers
Safeguarding
- Demonstrate, at all times, a commitment to safeguarding children and adults
- Implement safeguarding policies and procedures within Middlesex Cricket, remaining up to date with relevant training needs
- Report any safeguarding concerns in accordance with MITC's Safeguarding Reporting Procedure
- Assist in fostering a culture of inclusivity, respect and equal opportunities for all
- Actively challenge discrimination and harassment of any kind
- Help the organisations EDI goals by taking a proactive stance in creating an inclusive environment
