What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?
  • Provide technical advice and support to the Machine Shop.
  • Inload piece parts into the Machine Shop both from the Supply Chain, and in support of Transfer opportunities into the Assembly area.
  • Manage relationships with equipment suppliers and support make-vs-buy decisions.
  • Act as the main technical interface with customers, suppliers, and internal design teams to ensure products are designed for manufacture.
  • Lead the technical direction for manufacturing systems, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, cost, and compliance targets are met.
Essential skills:
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing, Machining.
  • Ability to Program (Preferably using NX).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
  • HNC (apprentice-trained) or degree in Engineering/Manufacturing, or equivalent experience.
