The Role
We are seeking experienced and qualified English Language Teachers to join our team on a part-time or freelance basis. You will deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of courses including General English, IELTS preparation, and Trinity ESOL qualifications.
This is an excellent opportunity for passionate educators who want the flexibility of remote teaching whilst making a genuine difference to students' language learning journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality English language lessons to international students across various proficiency levels
- Teach General English, IELTS preparation, and Trinity ESOL courses
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and styles
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and achievements
- Create an inclusive and motivating online learning environment
- Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and management
- Participate in staff development and training as required
Essential Requirements
- Recognised TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate
- Proven teaching experience delivering English language courses
- Experience teaching IELTS and/or Trinity ESOL qualifications
- Strong understanding of English language teaching methodology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable internet connection and suitable home teaching environment
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Confidence using online teaching platforms and digital resources
Desirable Requirements
- Experience teaching a range of proficiency levels from beginner to advanced
- Knowledge of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR)
- Experience working with international students from diverse backgrounds
- First-hand experience of living or working abroad
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week
