DAY SHIFT FIRST LINE CCTV OPERATOR – FULL TIME

The Role

Working in a busy Remote Video Receiving Centre, you will be responsible for processing CCTV camera activations received from our clients' premises, in accordance with the appropriate procedures. You will also answer telephone calls from our clients, processing and recording routine information as appropriate.

The Hours

Our Central Station is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so your working pattern will consist of a combination of shifts that reflect this. Some weekend working is required, and attendance on some Bank and Public Holidays is also required as part of your standard shift pattern. Once your training is complete, you will be allocated to a regular shift pattern as part of an operational team.

Training and Accreditation

You will receive intensive on the job training to enable you to become fully familiar with the appropriate procedures. In addition, you will be expected to pass the vetting procedures carried out by the local Police Constabulary and provide a checkable 5-year work history.

Hours

This is a permanent full-time position, with guaranteed hours comprising an average of 35 hours per week Monday - Friday.

Salary

Please note that this is a salaried position with an annual salary of £23,534.00, which is paid on the last working day of each calendar month.

  • SIA Licence
  • Good Customer Service skills and telephone manner
  • IT literate with experience of using a computer
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with a minimum of supervision
  • Reliable and punctual
