About the role:
We're looking for a talented and strategic Senior Commercial Analytics Manager to lead our UK-based Commercial Analytics team. This role will help drive the ambitious commercial plans for the UK's largest meal-kit in 2025 and beyond. In this high-impact role, you'll manage a team of three analysts working as key analytics thought partners to cross-functional stakeholders across Strategy, Retention, Marketing, Product, and Finance domains.
Reporting into the Director of Business Operations, you'll play a central role in shaping the centralised Commercial Analytics function - defining the agenda, evolving team routines and tooling, and embedding best practices to scale insight-led decision-making. Your team will use advanced analytics tools and platforms to support a wide range of critical business initiatives, from marketing campaign performance and product investment to retention strategy and customer experience. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role where you'll coach and develop your team while unlocking the insights that fuel growth, efficiency, and smarter decisions across the business.
What you'll do:
- Own the Commercial Analytics agenda, setting priorities and ensuring alignment with key business objectives while collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders in Strategy, Retention, Marketing, Product, and Finance.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to provide data-backed insights that influence strategic planning, growth initiatives, and performance tracking.
- Champion Generative AI uptake and integration across the organisation, developing transformative use-cases and driving autonomy for stakeholders in leveraging Generative AI.
- Lead and manage a high-performing team of three analysts across customer, product, and marketing analytics - mentoring and upskilling your team, driving best practices, and ensuring efficient, automated processes.
- Identify and prioritise new commercial analytics opportunities, owning analytics initiatives from ideation through to execution.
- Develop and evolve scalable reporting frameworks, dashboards, and tools to track and optimise key commercial KPIs.
- Oversee the team's workloads and provide direct analytics support, ensuring the team's resources are deployed flexibly across critical areas of focus.
- Establish and enforce data governance, ETLs, data quality, and reporting standards to ensure consistency and reliability across the Commercial Analytics function.
- Look for opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and analysis to increase efficiency and streamline processes.
- Maintain strong relationships with Global Analytics counterparts to stay abreast of internal data and analytics developments and best practices and collaborate on cross-market initiatives.
Who You Are
- Advanced user of SQL and good working knowledge of other data tooling such as Tableau, Python and Excel/Google Sheets
- A strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, able to translate complex data insights into actionable plans that drive business change and create real impact.
- Data-driven by nature, with the ability to turn data and numbers into meaningful insights that guide decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Experienced in collaborating with senior leadership to drive business change with data-backed insights.
- A natural leader who demonstrates influence and management potential, even without formal line management responsibilities, with a passion for mentorship and developing others.
- Strong organisational skills, capable of managing workloads, defining priorities, and proposing new, more efficient ways of working
- Skilled in data visualisation, statistical analysis, with a strong technical aptitude to support analytical work.
