Description

Physio Performance is looking for a top performing part-time MSK/Sports Physiotherapist.

We are on the hunt for someone to provide world-class treatment and rehabilitation to local athletes and active people around Belfast.

You will have strong knowledge and experience of manual therapy and strength and conditioning principles, to ensure the client reaches their maximum potential.

You will be confident in explaining the diagnosis, length of recovery and the rehabilitation process to the athlete or client.

Who you are

An experienced Physiotherapist with a proven track record of treating MSK and sports injuries, and getting people back performing at their best. Ideally at least 3 years experience.

Registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health and Care Professions Council.

Able to provide word-class treatment.

Detailed in your assessment to find the true cause of injury and manage the body as a whole.

Experienced in prescribing and coaching rehab exercises, both in a gym setting and on a pitch.

Knowledgeable and confident in progressing a rehabilitation programme, and deciding on return to activity.

What you will do

Assess and treat MSK/sports injuries from a range of different sports, including soccer, running, Gaelic football, hurling, rugby, hockey, martial arts and dance.

Clearly and effectively communicate the diagnosis, rehabilitation process and how long it is going to take to recover.

Be comfortable and confident talking about our recovery programmes.

Provide excellent customer service skills.

Requirements

  • CSP and HCPC registered Physiotherapist
  • Currently living within a commutable distance from Belfast
  • Experience of managing MSK/sports injuries
  • Knowledge of strength and conditioning/athletic development
  • Ideally at least 3 years experience

Availability

Wednesday afternoon/evening and Saturday mornings, with potential for more hours.
