Singing Tutor

Job Description

This job is attached to an industry training programme. This would be suited to a junior/developing/trainee/aspiring teacher, without or with formal training, we want to hear from you.

You will be responsible for timetabling your own students, with teacher training from the director. You will receive professional development opportunities (currently focussed on vocal tech, acting through song and professional vocational qualifications) completely free of charge, as part of the training programme.

Job Requirements

Essential:

• Drivers license + access to own vehicle

• Experience with children

• Qualified in singing (Graded examinations or equivalent experience)

• Basic piano skills

• Basic music theory reading

• Organised and efficient

• A passion for music/musical theatre, and have clear vocal goals

Job Responsibilities

• Teach singing in 1-2-1 settings to children

• Timetable your own client list

• Respond to work emails from clients

• Keep on top of professional development assessments, deadlines and homework

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship, Freelance, Graduate, Internship

Pay: £22.00-£30.00 per hour
