About the Role:

Stephenson Browne are recruiting As a leading independent agent, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Lettings Consultant to join our team in our Sandbach branch.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Prepare and advertise properties on portals, social media, and other marketing channels.
  • Conduct measure ups for re-lets by taking photos and completing floorplans.
  • Conduct viewings with prospective tenants.
  • Vet applicants, conduct referencing checks, and prepare tenancy agreements.
  • Manage the tenancy process from offer to move-in, ensuring a smooth experience for landlords and tenants.
  • Book in market appraisals with the appropriate person and ensure full details are taken with respect to the property and client situation.
  • Act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants prior to the tenancy starting.
  • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction to encourage referrals and repeat business.
  • Ensure all lettings activities comply with relevant legislation, including tenancy law, deposit protection, and safety regulations.
  • For each new instruction and re-let, ensure Landlord terms of business are completed accurately. Proof of ownership and sanctions have been completed and RPI/Reposit has been discussed.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisation and administration skills
  • Property compliance knowledge within the Lettings sector (Desirable)
  • A proactive and customer-focused attitude
  • Full UK driving licence
