About

We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our Training Department as a Training Bookings Administrator. In this role, you will provide vital administrative support across the end-to-end process of training course bookings, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and outstanding customer service in everything you do.

Work Location/Hours

Based at our head office in Moreton-in-Marsh

Important Note: Our head office will be relocating to Banbury Business Park in January 2026. To support colleagues during this transition, we are offering a monthly travel contribution of £80.00 until December 2025.

This is a full-time, permanent role – Monday to Friday – 08:30 to 16:30 (35 hrs)

Key Responsibilities

  • Process course booking forms and purchase orders in line with internal policies
  • Monitor provisional and waiting list bookings, converting to confirmed bookings in a timely manner
  • Ensure course dates are accurate and visible on the FPA website
  • Provide weekly reports on booking status, fill rates, and a three-month financial pipeline
  • Handle customer enquiries promptly and professionally, liaising with other departments where necessary
  • Create and maintain accurate job sheets for confirmed courses, liaising with trainers regarding changes or bespoke content
  • Maintain and update automated customer communications in line with course updates
  • Raise invoices and process credit card payments, ensuring appropriate documentation
  • Champion effective use of our internal CRM and LMS systems
  • Manage the training inbox, ensuring all communications are responded to within 48 hours and filed appropriately

Key Education and experience

Essential:

  • GCSEs A–C (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service or administrative role
  • Intermediate IT skills including use of Microsoft Office

Desirable:

  • Experience working with CRM or LMS systems
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Experience of events and bookings
  • Business administration qualification

The salary for this role is as stated in the job advert and is non-negotiable. All roles at the FPA are externally benchmarked and aligned with our internal pay framework to ensure fairness and consistency across all positions.
