Job Overview:

The LAB, now re-open, is looking to hire experienced Bar Staff. The venue is one of Glasgow's best known bars just off Buchanan Street and behind Princes Square. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cocktail Bartenders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages to customers
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the bar area
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Handle cash transactions accurately
  • Assist in re-stocking bar inventory and supplies
  • Help maintain clean guest areas
  • Support management with basic cellars management duties
  • Take orders and serve food when required

Skills

  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices relevant to the hospitality industry.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is mandatory.
  • Proficient bartending skills, including knowledge of cocktail recipes and drink preparation techniques.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills accurately.
  • Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly demeanour that fosters positive customer interactions.
