Samples Room

The Stone & Tile Company is an Internet based company based in Bardon, Leicestershire. Our warehouse & office is prepared to process an order of any scale, whether it be a few tiles for a kitchen project through to a large commercial project. We hold all of our products in stock and when combined with our low cost operating model, it allows us to offer great quality products, at great prices.

We are looking for a sample room picker / packer to join our small team. The role involves picking, packing, and labelling samples to a high standard, booking requests via delivery portals, and maintaining optimal stock levels. Responsibilities include cutting and preparing samples, ensuring cleanliness and organisation, and assisting with stock checks. The role also supports the warehouse team with wrapping, banding, and parcel courier orders, while collaborating with customer service and warehouse teams to maintain operational standards.

The right candidate will be happy to work autonomously and be required to carry out the following key responsibilities.

• Picking and packing all samples to high standards.
• Booking all sample requests out via the Every and DHL portal
• Monitoring stock levels and ensuring the correct amount of sample per average monthly orders are in stock.
• Cutting and preparing samples for stock.
• Preparing and labelling all samples and maintaining high standards.
• Responsible for maintaining the samples department and general housekeeping.
• Further responsibility to wrap parcel courier orders when required.
• Assist the warehouse team with wrapping and banding orders if required.
• Assist with stock checks.
• Working with the customer service team and warehouse to ensure standards are achieved.
• Keeping all sample reports up to date and reporting on samples sent and sales received.

Pay: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
