Junior Supply Chain Executive

JSP, Europe's leading manufacturer of Personal Protective Equipment are looking for a Junior Supply Chain Executive to join our RPE & Hearing Industrial BU based in Carterton.

JSP has grown considerably over the past few years. We have invested across the globe, going from three manufacturing sites in the UK to facilities throughout Europe, USA and Asia. In 2018 we also opened a world class manufacturing facility in Germany.
The Junior Supply Chain Executive will provide purchasing support to the Purchasing Executive within the Business Unit and also the Central Purchasing Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raise business unit purchase orders.
- Communicate purchase orders to suppliers. Update and maintain filing of purchase orders, order confirmations, pro–forma invoices and shipping documents. Check, sign and return pro forma invoices.
- Request quotations from approved suppliers.
- Set up new supplier accounts in conjunction with Central Finance.
- Maintain part prices on the system.
- Chase suppliers for updated ETA's.
- Liaise with suppliers, warehouse and freight forwarders to book in delivery of containers from overseas.
- Organise and maintain shipping documents for customs and delivery purposes.
- Effectively use the company Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Process orders with accuracy and speed
- Develop good working relationships with internal departments ensuring issues are addressed in the proper manner in order to avoid a "blame" culture.
- Suggest improvements in processes and procedures to ensure continuous improvements and efficiencies.
- Ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
- Participate in projects and team activities as required.

- Be computer literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel).

- Absorb training and instructions in order to work independently.
- Be a team player, willing to adapt to new challenges and changes and help colleagues when required
